Born in 1963 in Northumberland (Great Britain), he lives in London.

Working in media as varied as photography, paint, animation film and drawing, Paul Noble is presenting a set of works in progress that he has been developing since 1995. With his imaginary town, Nobsontown, Noble casts in his drawings an ironic gaze over late 20th-century urbanisation. Gloomy and grey, this industrial town of flats is no ideal model, and can only be defined negatively by its absence of style and character, even though it does have all its needs to be functional.
