Where's the cameraman? When exactly will the shot change? Was this scene shot in chronological order? How many shots are needed before the right one? These are the sorts of questions posed by the characters in the film, acting as raw material for the dialogues. The director and some of the actors are present at the screening, recounting anecdotes about the shoot, backtracking to highlight such and such a hidden detail, and, where necessary, speeding up any boring sequences. In this “film spectacle”, Bettina Attala wittily sheds light on the mechanisms and conventions of film writing. With a pseudo-naive eye, she loses us in the logic of editing, lists obvious things that we hadn't picked up on, and has several surprise appearances up her sleeve.
