Frédéric Moser

Born in 1966 in St-Imier (Switzerland), he lives in Berlin.

Phlippe Schwinger

Born in 1961 in St-Imier (Switzerland), he lives in Berlin.

Having founded and directed the Lausanne-based company "Atelier ici et maintenant", these Swiss video artists apply their experience of theatre to the problems of contemporary art. By replaying scenes taken from reality or by reconstructing recent social events, they compose a kind of "historical fiction".

For le Printemps de septembre Moser and Schwinger present France, détours, a revival of the TV series "France, tour détour, deux enfants", created by Jean-Luc Godard and Anne-Marie Miéville in 1978. Between reality and fiction, this first episode, shot mainly in the Mirail district, is based on a series of interviews with children, teenagers and adults who live there.

The residency of the artists Moser and Schwinger is supported by the Direction Régionale des affaires culturelles de Midi-Pyrénées.
The film was made with the support of Ina (Institut national de l'audiovisuel).
