Used by writers, artists, philosophers and poets alike the notebook is very often more than a mere working tool, not only because it offers a space for elaboration, with its own limitations, but also because its format really does liken it to a book.

This is an exhibition of about thirty notebooks presented in various ways like unprinted editions.
