Born in 1980, she lives and works in Paris.

Sarah Tritz’s protean work reflects her interest in space and the ways of appropriating it. Her pieces display a surprising, almost incongruous lyricism, juxtaposing architectural forms with collages and drawings. Her experiments with “deconstructed constructions” indicate the prospect of dissolution and tempt us towards it. Variations around references from the history of art and aesthetics endow her work with a sincere casualness in relation to the contemporary aesthetic. Her art invokes an ambitious project, that of reactivating the radicalism of a total artwork.
