The project Les mots bleus was born from the idea that bars play an essential role for the artistic community who meet there to discuss over a coffee or until late at night. For this edition, four artists have been invited to write a short story or a short text to be read by a person sitting in a bar. Each bar will host a different story.

The collective artist gerlach en koop submitted to a six-day writing course by Mark E. Smith and got stuck in an endless third day. William Leavitt composed his text using words randomly selected from images drawn on shuffled and distributed playing cards. Deimantas Narkevičius recalls his first encounters with popular music during the Cold War when he was about eight years old. Anouchka Oler reports on the quest of a protagonist who approaches all his relationships dogmatically, which allows him to make his life an experimental one.
