To resonate with her exhibition at Lieu Commun, Élodie Lesourd has conceived a concert-performance involving three musicians. Diminished Finlucier explores various heterogeneous materials seen through a malevolent eye. Élodie Lesourd and her partners deconstruct the soundscapes of two American musicians, Elliott Smith and Alvin Lucier, including Black Metal, using translations and slides. The significance of sound and its hermeticism are revealed through a deflected dark and muted light. It is above all a way of highlighting musical plasticity as well as expressing the musicality of art.
