Jean Nouvel - Franco Fontana - Georges Fessy - Alain Willaume

Les Projections de nuit
06.18.93 - 06.27.93
Night projections — Cahors

The originality of the staging creates, at night, a colorful animation in the district where the exhibitions are gathered.

The theme proposed this year is the architecture. It is not about a work based on architectural photography, but about a use of the existing architectural space in order to transform it in its style, in its relationships, in its functionality.

Jean Nouvel (born in 1945, lives in Paris, France)

Internationally renowned, he is the leader of a new French architecture that is modern, futuristic and minimal. Many achievements and projects which are already witnesses of an era.

Franco Fontana (born in 1933, lives in Italy).

Founder of a whole line of colorist, he is at the origin of the appearance of pure color in a photograph marked by an aesthetic tradition of black and white. Here, we focused on its shaping of colors of the urban space.

George Fessy (born 1937, lives in Paris, France).

Photographer in Paris since 1969, he operates in the field of advertising and collaborates with art magazines including l'Oeil, Beaux Arts,… Numerous collaborations and publications of works on architecture, in particular on the work of Claude Nicolas and Jean Nouvel.

Alain Willaume (born in 1956, lives in France).

He invites us to discover the work of Gaudí. A vision that goes well beyond the always futile attempts to be faithful to architecture, which is more attached to its spirit and which gives us more of the builder's approach than on the building.
