Tom Drahos

Born in 1947.

Early filmmaker and street photographer, Tom Drahos became in the 1980s one of the greatest representatives of plastic research on photographic medium.

The installation in Cahors is part of a cycle on cities. A film made in one of the cities and then reworked directly on the film is projected in a room which recreates an ordinary interior. Opposition between the private sphere and the public sphere, between withdrawal and openness.
