Born in 1936 in Paris, he lives and works there.
In 1982, Colette Portal constructed the photographic series Version originale as a story. By photographing on her television screen images of different films with subtitles from the film club, the artist reconstructed a new story, a love story. This series of 100 images can take on different configurations and be shown with as many images as desired. Each juxtaposition, each association creates new relationships.
