At night, projections, stagings, installations, musicians, street actors, choreographers, etc. take over the three main exhibition hubs, "the sattelites", transforming an entire city.

Satellite 1: the historic Old Cahors

Projecting the image ... propelling it into space, unreadable until it meets an obstacle, a surface, a material that will act as a screen.

In the streets and alleys, projections and back-projections in and on buildings, on stretched fabrics, plastic materials and water screens by Etienne-Jules Marey, Walker Evans, Harold Edgerton, Philippe Halsman.

In the cloister, projection of works by Henry Ray, Eric Prinvault, Jean-François Campos and Bertrand Desperez on a screen structure installed in the centre of the space.

Défi-jeunes from 10pm to 1am: the Défi-jeunes winners perform on the Place Saint James.

Satellite 2: Espace Clément Marot

The courtyard is set up as an ephemeral staging area in which the public who come to the exhibitions become actors...

Monumental screens are set up (installation by Sylvain Dubuisson) on which the "Soirées Nomades" of the Printemps de Cahors (according to the concept of the Fondation Cartier) are broadcasted, among others.

Soirées Nomades from 10pm to 1am: choreographic interventions, performances and mini-concerts in the centre of the courtyard or in the exhibition spaces, involving the public in a close relationship: Laure Bonicel, Rachid Ouramdame, Sylvain Prunenec, Vanessa Beecroft, the Imaj company, DJ Cam.

Satellite 3: Henri Martin Museum

Projections of images on the central façade of the building in connection with the Dennis Hopper exhibition.

Intervention of Défi-jeunes laureates near the Museum, place Georges Barreau.

From one satellite to another...

Moving from one satellite to another through the small streets of Chaors allows you to discover the city. The route is marked out by projections on the ground, by a slightly unreal blue light, by an installation of suspended parabolas... At three particular points, musical sculptures by Robert Hebrard, which the public can handle.

Place de la Libération : traditional popular ball.

Place Saint James: "Le Bar à Vin", Cahors wine tasting.

A "little train" provides a link from one point to another.
