Marie Legros

Born in 1963 in Paris, she lives there.

Marie Legros' work is as much about performance as it is about video. Through her actions, she stages the vulnerability of our bodies that have become mere clichés of the media world and tries to define the limit that characterizes us as an entity. "There is no right distance", she says, "I track the individual (...) to end this relationship to the world that refers to a knowledge or an ideology. Only the link to the other allows me to move forward.
