Born in 1953 in Washington D.C., she lives in New York (USA).

Nan Goldin has been photographing her daily environment for more than twenty years, portraying her life, her loves, her friends and the New York underground world in which she lives. Since the 1970s, Nan Goldin has presented these sensitive and often painful images in the form of slide projections, such as The Other Side. She presents ten of her recent prints at the Printemps de Cahors.
