Pipilotti Rist

Born in 1962 in Rheintal (Switzerland), he lives in Zurich (Switzerland).

Since the mid-1980s, Pipilotti Rist has been making films and installations in which she frequently stages herself. The themes she tackles - femininity, desire or sexuality - are treated with humour and a jubilant release of energy.

In Cahors, her video I'm not the girl who misses much (1986), a hysterical variation of John Lennon's Happiness is a warm gun, transforms a harmless clip into a technological impulse.
