Wolfgang Tillmans

Born in 1968 in Remscheid (Germany), he lives in Cologne (Germany).

Since 1988, the work of Wolfang Tilmans, who photographs those close to him, favouring a close relationship without artifice, has been published in fashion magazines and exhibited in contemporary art museums. His aesthetic is nourished by these two universes, combined in a singular approach, which overturns the criteria of the "good image", including in its modes of hanging.
