Born in 1966 in Marseille (France), he lives and works in Paris.

Since 1993, Boris Achour has been disrupting public space with his Actions-peu. These anonymous sculptures, made of almost nothing, are left in place and abandoned to their fate. A garland of plastic bags attached to a metro vent, a baguette tied to a lamppost are all Actions-peu that the artist offers to the observation of attentive passers-by, which only survive through photography and then video from 1995. For the Printemps de Cahors, he produced Un monde qui s'accorde à nos désirs (2000), a video projection of a milk flow, a slow shot filmed at 150 images per second according to the "still life" advertising film technique.
