Born in 1965 in Lyon (France), he lives and works in Paris.

Franck Scurti's work (installations, objects or interventions in the public space, photographs, videos such as Soap or Chicago Flipper), revealed by his 1993 exhibition at the contemporary galleries of the Centre Georges Pompidou, questions the signs, images and codes that govern the immediate environment. Scurti transforms and modifies the perception of things, blurring the boundaries between art and the utilitarian (Smoke or Mobile Home).

In his video piece Heineken Vision (1998), exhibited in Cahors for the first time, Scurti focuses attention on the detail of a beer with bubbles running through it, behind which the course of things unfolds, a vision of the world that reveals the almost abstract beauty of the minute.
