Born in 1966 in Monte Carlo (Monaco), he lives and works in Paris.

Michel Blazy creates works that obey the logic of life and its fragility. Starting with simple and meticulous gestures, he develops a work or rather a "small activity", where the most ordinary and varied materials - spaghetti, washing-up liquid, vegetables, cotton or plastic... - is taken into account in its temporality and thus lives and evolves in the course of the exhibition, like the aquarium La vie des choses (the life of things)that he created in 1997 at the ARC, Musée d'art moderne de la Ville de Paris.

In Cahors, Michel Blazy presents a video work relating his experiments (Tentatives de saisir les chats... and Les suites et les fins), while he creates a new work in the old town, an earthen fortress in the form of a labyrinth.
