Born in 1970 in Paris, he lives and works there.

Nicolas Moulin's photographic and videographic work is essentially based on the notion of no man's land, as evidenced by his visual and sound environments such as Visiover (1997), in which he duplicates the image of a tunnel on old Apple computer screens, or his photographs, such as Vider Paris (1997-98), which show a capital artificially emptied of all human presence. An almost hypnotic atmosphere emerges from these imaginary worlds borrowed from science fiction.

Nicolas Moulin presents in Cahors a new piece entitled OCR (2000), a visual and sound installation based on images inspired by NASA films about Mars and Venus, modulated by the presence of the spectator.

Sound: Cédric Pigot.
