Born in 1952 in Germany, she lives and works in Paris.

Initially a painter pursuing research in the tradition of geometric abstraction, Sieglinde Klupsch has for some years now been producing large-scale photographs from debris or market scraps which, in addition to their great pictorial quality, compose a world of colours and sensory evocations which are so many unforeseen beauties captured in the ephemeral.

In Cahors, she is exhibiting a selection of new photographs, ten paintings of detritus, in which the shimmering colours, the evocation of a sensual desire, and the very situation of the desired object that repels its capture, contrast.
