Born in 1961 in New York (USA), she lives and works in New York.

Zoé Leonard's photographs are the result of a search for traces, images and situations in reality. Affects, memory, notions of normality and difference are questioned in a work that mixes political issues and poetic research.

Zoé Léonard presents in Cahors a new work, a quadriptych on the model of the four seasons, which declines the image of a tree whose leaves have been replaced by plastic bags stopped in their flight. For the Outside part she creates posters in the same vein for the Decaux billboards scattered around the city of Cahors. She also created an original work for the Printemps de Cahors, offered in each June 2000 issue of Beaux Arts magazine.

Photographic commission from the Centre National des arts plastiques, Paris.

Coproduction Sipa Labo, Paris (original photograph for Beaux Arts magazine).
