Born from the meeting of three students Melissa Logan from N-Y, Kiki Morse from Munich and Alex Murray-Leslie from Sydney at the Munich School of Fine Arts, Chicks on Speed are a trio of glamorous, inventive and unclassifiable girls.

Their first album Chicks on speed will Save us all (2000), a mix of electro-pop-punk-arty, was a real success, made even more so by their live performances. Genuine jack-of-all-trades adept at sound and plastic DIY, the Chicks don't just make music: they make their own stage outfits out of paper, design their own record sleeves, make installations, create comics and even offer cable TV shows...

In Toulouse, they wanted to develop a special project by transferring their Berlin office-workshop to a construction site on the Place de la Daurade for a week, starting on the day of the opening. You will be able to go and see them work, during office hours, on their multiform projects, music, production, graphic design, styling... At the end of this week, they will go on stage at the Daurade for a live performance that will close the sleepless nights of le Printemps de septembre.
