Born in 1965 in Soisson (France), he lives and works in Montreuil (France).
Pierre Faure's photographs create a climate of urban mystery, elaborating the narrative of a complex and disconcerting non-event. A woman gets out of her car to go into a garage. A man and a woman pass each other on a concrete driveway that could be in London, Paris or Manhattan, so much does it blend into the anonymity of administrative centres. A group of teenagers stand out against a background of black smoke. All these mini-scenarios speak to us of the world we live in, recounting decisive moments with all the magic of undecidability.
