Born in 1966 in Italy, he lives between Casalpusterlengo and Milan (Italy).

An Algerian barberin the middle and Milan. All his customers wear a red cloth to stop the hair falling on them once the scissors have done their work. Marcello Maloberti decides to photograph each one of these men, and turn them into characters in his own history, which is precisely the history of "people who are part of my every day life and who, in these pictures, find themselves in a place somewhere between the real and the unreal, becoming enigmatic". The relationship to "the other" and the revelation of secrets, often meet up in the work of this multi-faceted artist, video artist, performer and photographer.
