Born in 1968 in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg), she lives in Frankfurt (Germany).
One of the recurring concerns in the artist's work is linked to the scale of what surrounds us. The world of the visible consists of dimensions, forms and textures that configure each appearance. Simone Decker doggedly sets out to disrupt these appearances and thus reveal their banality and fortuitousness.
