White Trash is part of the international project Good Work, initiated by Ben Anderson, Bruno Pocheron and Isabelle Schad, which brings together a group of choreographers and performers of different nationalities to reflect on the status of the body on stage and in society.

This performance, which takes place in an entirely white and overexposed space, explores physically and symbolically the question of disappearance. By wrapping selected parts of their bodies in strips of white paper, the two performers carry out an action that refers to first aid treatment. This action leads to a slow transformation of the bodies, which gradually melt into the white environment. The question of what this supposedly neutral white covers arises as the bodies disappear. A collective experience linked to the impermeability of the senses, White Trash invests a space adjacent to vision and perception.

Isabelle Schad is a Berlin-based choreographer with a classical dance background. Since 1999, she has been developing her own projects in collaboration with musicians, visual artists, choreographers and lighting designers. At the same time, she works as a performer with Wim Vandekeybus, Olga Mesa, Félix Ruckert and Eszter Salamon.

Benoît Lachambre from Quebec works as a choreographer, dancer, improviser and teacher. As a dancer, he has worked with Meg Stuart, Marie Chouinard and Jennifer Lacey. In 1996, he founded the company par b.l.eux. Since then, he has created nearly twenty pieces that focus on the dynamics of communication and perception. His creations have toured in Europe and throughout the world. He has worked in collaboration with various choreographers including Boris Charmatz.
