Odile Darbelley - Michel Jacquelin

Zapping Relationnel
09.24.04 - 10.17.04
Performance — isdaT — institut supérieur des arts et du design de Toulouse

During the Printemps de Septembre 2002, Odile Darbelley and Michel Jacquelin presented three lectures on Hans K. and guided tours of the exhibition Les bas Morceaux de l'Odalisque, two amusing little satires inspired by discourses on contemporary art. For this edition, they are back with a fake interactive performance on the internet, created with students from the Toulouse School of Fine Arts. "In homage to Paquito, the Uruguayan artist and father of perversionism, the Ingrid Vido and Partners Gallery, in association with the Printemps de Septembre and the Professor Swedenborg Foundation for Contemporary Art, will solicit the young artists it represents in an internet performance. In the age of the global village, the wiring of the urban web disrupts traffic but increases the means of communication tenfold. Thanks to a new technology of very high definition connection (ADDTSL) the spectators will be, in all intimacy, the privileged witnesses of this artistic gesture, and will be able to share "an interactive hour of multimedia relational exchange (Nicolas Bourmou)".
