Dirty projectors

A project by the New-York based musician Dave Longstreth, Dirty Projectors has managed to make a name for itself after five albums as a major group in the current New York indie scene. Its pieces mix electric acoustic elements and changing vocal harmonies, from contemporary opera to R’n’B. Known for the power and wealth of its live performances, the group has worked in particular with David Byrne and Björk.
