Jochen Dehn is also presenting a performance and an exhibition at the Goethe Institute and participating in the exhibition Parc Municipal.

Born 1968 in Kiel (Germany), lives in Paris.

The work of this artist/performer ranges from theatrical performances given in apartments (2004), and mud-wrestling (Mud, 2005) to a homage to the invention of Velcro (I am you as an explosion, 2005). Bringing into play the body and the concrete space surrounding it, Jochen Dehn elaborates forms that tend to reveal their zones of contact and reduce the distance that keep bodies from possible collisions.

In Toulouse he has filmed a long sequence shot in public spaces (streets, cafés, etc.) that seem deserted by their usual population, even though there are signs suggesting the nearby presence of their former occupants: a still-steaming cup of coffee, banknotes coming out of an ATM, etc.
