The DJ, designer and label manager Sundae has the typical profile of an inquisitive art lover and sensitive, open-minded collector. It is no surprise that he has been seen on many different occasions at the Worldwide Festival. People approve with pleasure of his soft spot for the gentle strangeness of certain forgotten pop titles, the soaring aspect of dub, the suave quality of jackin house and the intellectual side of the disco/post-punk mix. Sundae is more than some umpteenth archivist producing nice mixtapes; he includes in his oeuvre a thin, red line involving the quest for a certain form of rare, subtile, fragile beauty.
