Hélène Maigné

Hélène Maigné, a student at the institut supérieur des arts de Toulouse and also a flautist, has conceived an unusual work to be presented at the Printemps de septembre: a concert in the form of a visual work of art. Immobile, silent musicians are “exhibited” surrounded by works in the museum. They are waiting for a visitor to activate their performance of one of Luciano Berio’s Folk Songs. This is interaction all right, but not as you were expecting it.
