Børre Sæthre

Born 1967 in Oslo, he lives in Berlin and in Oslo.

Børre Sæthre creates dream-like worlds. Combining environmental sculptures, light, ambient sound and video animations to invent luxurious, lounge-like spaces or office modules, he offers an unforgettable immersion in the image. At first glance austere, these spaces turn out to be full of hidden fantasies, confessions and secrets, enticing us into a voyeuristic experience of a space that at first seemed impermeable.

Invited to occupy the exhibition spaces of the Ecole des beaux-arts de Toulouse, Børre Sæthre presents a set of recent works linked to the creation of a new environmental piece.
