Born in 1976 in London, she lives in London and in Paris.

An adept in the mysterious and the marvellous, the curious and the absurd, Alice Anderson is a creator of video narratives. She seeks to submit reality to the power of the imagination in order to expose, in her words, "the transformation of immaterial human aspirations into hard, commercial material". Simply and unsentimentally, her films follow the fantastical logic of legends, where reality is reworked and metamorphosed into fables. A true magician of the image, she uses the camera fluidly, intimately, and subjectively to attain the vertigo of a dream.

Invited to exhibit on TLT, the local television station, she has contributed a drama (Journeys to the Invisible Cities), a cooking programme, a short programme aimed at 3-5 year olds, and cut-segments.
