Born in 1981 in Paris, he lives there.

“Throughout my fine arts apprenticeship, I was interested in the landscapes of Paris suburbs, then in cityscapes in general. They are in the picture outside of their everyday humdrum, in an open time-related space and a specific light which have a restorative effect in the eye of the beholder, who nevertheless knows that they are destined to disappear or deteriorate in the near future.” (Michel Perot).

What does the dictum “Wherever I am going, I am already there” mean to you?

The paradox suggests the extent to which our present only exists through projection towards the future, it constructs it by becoming activated. Wherever I'm going, I'm not yet there, but I project myself towards it like a fait accompli . This is how the artist proceeds: when he burns his bridges, it's because he is really projected towards where he's going.

A word about your project or artistic proposal?

I'm reckoning on showing a set of paintings on canvas, large format (187 x 250 cm). I'll paint urban and peri-urban developments, on the borderline between the functional and the artificial, places and things, in many cases, that we're not used to looking at.

What does art enable you to do?

What art brings me is far-reaching discoveries and sometimes upheavals, an infinite patience, and from time to time, I hope, the demanding aspect of daring.
