This collectively devised exhibition is founded on the special affinity between four graduates from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris. Their worlds and manner of working are quite diverse but together they demonstrate the sensitivity of the up-and-coming generation.

Audrey Cottin

Born in 1984 in Saint-Mandé (France), she works between Paris and Ghent (Belgium).

She graduated in 2008, has won the LVMH Young Artists’ Prize , and is in residence at the HISK in Ghent. She is involved in photography and sculpture, questioning the functional environment and the social arena.

Estefanía Peñafiel-Loaiza

Born in 1978 in Quito (Ecuador), lives in Paris.

After graduating in 2007, she has worked with different media, showing a keen interest in history, memory, and displacement, and exploring the links between words and pictures, what is seen and what is unseen.

Thu Van Tran

Born in 1979 in Hô Chi Minh City (Vietnam), she lives between Paris and Sèvres (France).

Graduating in 2003, her work is closely linked to literature as well as to the issue of immigrant recognition in host countries. She had a recent solo show at Bétonsalon: “Fahrenheit 451. Homme-livre Homme-libre/ Book-man Free-man”.

Julie Darribère

Born in 1980 in Pau (France), she lives in Paris.

Graduating in 2008, this plastic artist, who trained as a dancer in Toulouse, took part in 2006 in a Loïc Touzé project at the Laboratoires d’Aubervilliers: “Watching dance and writing”.
