Born in 1984 in Quito (Ecuador), she lives and works in Paris.

In her performances and videos, the artist composes an interplay of absurdity and reflection dealing with social codes by incarnating characters faced with their own failures. For the Toulouse International Art Festival, by exploring the mechanisms of rumour and suspense in the visible and the invisible, Anna Byskov proposes her own investigation on the Musée des Augustins, through an endless duplication using fictional appropriation.

Graduated of the Ecole nationale supérieur d’art at the Villa Arson (Nice). She has presented her work at the 55th Salon de Montrouge, the Centre Pompidou, the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, etc, and took part in the 2010 Printemps de Septembre at the invitation of Eric Mangion.
