Printemps de septembre is dedicating one of its late-night events to another invitation to walk around the city, a visual and poetic tour. Participants will go from one courtyard to another (the DRAC, the Fondation Bemberg) to discover, life-size and under the stars, a selection of artists’ films carefully chosen for their ability to take us on a journey from dreamlike worlds to singular sound compositions – some of which can be executed live.

In these two videos, artist Guido Van der Werve exacerbates the contrast between banality of the everyday, the setting filmed with a cold distance, and the extreme delicacy of dancers dressed in immaculate tutus. The absurdity of real thus reinforced and magnified assumes an unexpectedly poetic cast.
