A completely free festival dedicated to contemporary creation, Le Printemps de septembre takes place every two years in nearly twenty-five partner locations in Toulouse, its urban conglomeration and in the Occitanie region. Open to all forms of contemporary creation (painting, sculpture, video, installation, performance, music, radio, etc.), the festival welcomes young emerging artists as well as the international scene's major artists.

It presents a large number of works specially created for the occasion and their places of display, places of contemporary art as well as historical heritage. In addition to its program of exhibitions, it organises dance performances, concerts and publication of catalogues and artists' books. Finally, it carries out mediation work throughout the festival. Its last edition entitled Fracas and Frêles Bruits, was held from the 21st September to the 21st October 2018.

The next edition will begin the 18th September 2020
